The first straw bale structure in LA County has been approved and permitted for Hubbell and Hubbell to build. Straw bale building is a sustainable and fire-resistant building technique, using stacked straw bales covered in plaster.  Straw is highly renewable, inexpensive, and it reduces pollution and pressure on forests. Hubbell and Hubbell Architects is currently working on this home.
