Green Building Design

Sustainable design, or green building design, is a way to mitigate and hopefully reverse the negative impacts we have on our planet, our health, and our future. Over the last 25+ years, we have developed consistent green building methods that are appropriate and particularly useful for our region’s climate and economy. In each of our projects, we use many of these methods simultaneously to optimize building performance. We also use many green building materials in our design to further address environmental challenges including resiliency against fire and earthquakes. See below to explore the methods and materials that we value and incorporate in our designs.

Green Building Design

Sustainable design (or green building design) is a way to mitigate (and hopefully reverse) the negative impacts we have on our planet, our health, and our future. Over the last 20 years, we have developed consistent practical design approaches that are particularly useful for our region’s climate and economy in the face of these environmental challenges. We are ready and able to design spaces in any of these materials.
