The Farrar Green Home which recently received “Platinum” LEED certification will be featured on the upcoming 2012 Green Homes Tour on Sunday, November 4th. The tour is hosted by the San Diego Green Building Council (USGBC-SD). The Farrar Green Home features innovative smart home technology merged with traditional passive solar building design. This net zero energy home uses only renewable power and is also the site of a small organic farm in the making. Construction on the home was completed in 2012.
