When Walls Become Doors: The Community of James Hubbell
Art Exhibition hosted by The Escondido Creek Conservancy
April 1 – June 30

A reception for the show will be held on April 16th, 4:30 – 6:00pm

An exhibition demonstrating what can be accomplished when friends work together and obstacles become opportunities.  Featuring the work of James Hubbell with Colegio La Esperanza, Pacific Rim Park, the Ilan-Lael Foundation and other non-profits across the San Diego and Baja California.

The exhibit is housed in the Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve Interpretive Center pictured above. Completed in June of 2009, this unique structure was designed by James and Drew Hubbell; the building integrates many permanent artistic elements, as well as a living roof and other green design features.
