The Foundation for Economic Justice Dinner & Lecture will have Drew Hubbell as the speaker on Saturday, October 4th! It will be held at the Sanctuary of the Church of the Brethren (The Friends Center) at the following address:

The lecture will include fire resistant building methods include straw bale buildings and “Perfect Block,” which is insulated composite concrete blocks consisting of recycled Styrofoam, cement, and admixtures.

Drew Hubbell designed the Friends Center, which was the first multipurpose straw bale building constructed in the city of San Diego and completed in 2013. He is a leader in green building materials and has since designed and permitted over 40 straw bale buildings in San Diego County.
