From the archives – this project was designed as part of The Salish Seaside Escapes located on Orcas Island in Washington. The romantic and cozy cottage was designed by Drew Hubbell and his father, James Hubbell. The sculpted design is ornamented with stained-glass windows, ceramic mosaics and metal sculpture work that were all completed by local craftsmen. The main level features a kitchen, living room, half bath and fireplace. The master suite sits on the upper level below a beautiful stained-glass window. Outside, lush trees and plants give privacy to the cottage as eagles soar above and the sounds of waves crashing fill the air.
