YMCA Camp Marston Dining Hall

For the past 90 years, Camp Marston, originally called “Pine Hills Camp for Boys,” has been a YMCA youth camp located in the hills of Julian proudly serving the community and its children. We worked with the YMCA crew to design and renovate the existing dining hall. A new skylight shaft allows ample natural light to enter the space. Exposed wood beams and steel structural elements span the distance of the skylight shaft. The wood and stone interior finishes give a cozy, lodge feel to the space. In the photos above, you can see before and after images. We loved working on this project and are happy to see smiling faces using the space.
