Sanctuary Seaside

Orcas Island, WA

Located on Orcas Island off the coast of Washington State, The Salish (the Native American term for the Puget Sound) was designed as part of The Salish Seaside Escapes, now known as the Sanctuary Seaside. The romantic and cozy cottage was designed by Drew Hubbell and his father, James Hubbell. The sculpted design is ornamented with stained glass windows, ceramic mosaics, and metal sculpture work that were all completed by James and local craftsmen. The main level features a kitchen, living room, half-bath and fireplace. The master suite sits on the upper level below a beautiful stained glass window. Outside, lush trees and plants give privacy to the cottage as eagles soar above and the sounds of waves crashing fill the air.
