The Farrar Green House is becoming a home! See for yourself by checking out the most recent photos.
Since our last update, Nigel and I have been very busy, working with our design and build team finalizing the myriad of finish details. What kind of doorstops do you prefer? We are now in the final stretch as we see the results of all of those decisions.
We have selected some exceptionally cool, and green products, and outstanding craftsmen to install them.
Our cabinet master, Steve Gunderson, has done an amazing job of crafting beautiful bamboo cabinetry throughout the home. The walls are being painted with Dunn Edwards Enso Paints, their new line of non-VOC paints. The colors are fantastic, our painter, Tom Summit, says the product is fabulous, and, there is no smell of paint in the house! It is like magic!
We also have selected Fluidstone for the home’s exterior (another magic product!), in place of stucco, which will be applied next week, should the weather cooperate! The Metal Sales roof has arrived and is ready to install as soon as the Fluidstone had dried.
We would like to welcome our newest Partners, without whom our home would not be the showcase home that it is becoming.

For more information about these and other events, stay tuned to the “What’s New” on the Farrar Green Home home page.
We are looking forward to inviting all of our friends to our first open house, once the home is completed.
The house is becoming a home! Thank you all for your part in making that a reality.
